Well, next time do what we did and take turns inviting each other. As for the game, yeah, you picked up the defence. And Ray Emery is not that good.

The Wii has the worst online interface. Every member has their own Wii ID number for every single game, so you have to go into the game, get the specific number, and give it to your friend. On top of that, simply adding someone doesn't let them know, there is no way to know someone has added you, you must add each other manually and use the very clumsy messaging system to contact each other, or use MSN/AIM/email. It's brutal.
