Why strange, Fish? From what I read it was mesothelioma that he had been getting chemo for.
He was a great player. I see that he won the Outland trophy and played at Utah St. Can you imagine how good he must have been to get that kind of notice as a Utah ST lineman? Wouldn't happen today in the BCS/espn era.
