He brought his team back from a 20 point halftime deficit on Weber State's home floor - where they have not lost a game since their home opener. 34 second half points, SCORED HIS TEAM'S LAST NINETEEN POINTS. He did not miss a shot in the last 12+ minutes of the game. 14-14 from the free throw line.

Played the last 4 minutes with 4 fouls.

Everyone in the building knew he was getting the ball, and he was still able to create his own shots and convert.

This may be the best single half performance EVER.

I don't know what the most impressive part was:

-34 out of 46 second half points.
-14/14 from the line
-Did not miss in the last 12:41
-Made eight straight shots, including game winner with 15 seconds left
-He was the only player on his team to even attempt a field goal in the last EIGHT MINUTES.

Add to that the Weber State had won 14 straight home games (last loss was their home opener in November).

I only watched the first half of this game, so I don't know how this all unfolded. But I'd be curious to know if, after Johnson scores 10 or 12 straight points and Montana has made it a game, how Weber State responded. I sure as hell would have taken two defenders and told them in no uncertain terms, "I don't care what you do on offense, but when we're on defense, you get a foot away from this guy, both of you, and harass the hell of him if they even THINK of getting the ball to him." If Montana then beat me with guys who had only scored 4 points to that moment, so be it, but there's no way I'd sit around and watch one guy outplay five.

What was even more unbelievable was that he scored the last 21 points for his team and was NEVER double teamed, not even on the last shot he made (to go up by 1 and win the game), hard to believe any coach could be that bad, you simply cant let one horrible defender leave the only guy that's shooting wide open on every shot, Weber St coach should resign to save himself some dignity, great shooting by Johnson but even worse coaching performance by Weber St
