I've lost close friends and my old man, trust me drugs DO NOT help they're the worst in that situation. Finally get to feel good for a few hours but not worth the comedown mixed with emotion. Booze not as bad but hard to mix the good nights with the bad, never a good thing to wake up and remember you were an emotional mess at four in the morning!
