Being vikes fan, hated seeing taylor go to bears, but if they can get LT that could be better.
What you think?

LT can still produce, but he needs a solid line in front of him. The Vikes have a good line

AGREE...but they aren't going to give the line any credit they are going to say he was injured and had a resurgence.

Why? The already have one underachiever in AP. Why would they get another one in LT?

Chester Taylor would run circles around LT right now. CT has plenty left, LT is on fumes.

LT is just a glimpse of his former self.
I like LT, but his best days are behind him.

Taylor would run circles around me.
Oh wait, you meant the other LT.
My answer is the same though, LT is definitely on the back end of his career while Taylor could start for a lot of teams in the league. That said, LT was the King of the one-yard touchdowns last year, so maybe he could spell AP near the goal line from time to time.

LT has 2,880 career carries.... Taylor has 1,028. Quite a difference. LT also has 530 career receptions... Taylor has 265. Obviously Taylor is the fresher of the 2. Id still take LT over Taylor in a heartbeat though. The chargers don't emphasize run blocking as much as the vikings do. LT will have a good year in Minnesota if he signs there

Career numbers are irrelevant, I would take Taylor in a heartbeat right NOW. I don't think there is any question that Taylor will never approach LT's numbers when LT was in his prime, but that is not the question.

I'm surprised the Redskins didn't going after LT here. Seems like we always go after the guys clearly in the back-end of their career. Thank god Cerrato's gone.

I dont think that was the point he was tryna make. Hes sayin Taylor's got a lot less mileage under his treads, which makes him more desireable for a season's grind

Vikings not bringing Taylor back may prove to be costly. I follow the Vikings and have for a long time and cannot believe they did not make an attempt to sign him.
