Great idea. If they could just keep it up at all times even when page is loading then I think you would see more posts at night because people don't have to navigate away to check on scores.

We have it on SBRodds.com and SBRforum.com homepage now which was at the top of our posintg forum some years ago. People preferred the pure forum layout. We can maybe do something with an optional widget or scrolling scoreboard where the videos are to the right.
