Guy calls me and says he is at the track and tells me to stop by and he will take me to Trackside dining and pay for my diner and give me $200 for gambling money????? Now it seemed too good to be true, i asked him if he was alone and what he was wearing. He goes on to say sweats and a football shirt and said he was with 2 guys. I quickly thought this could be a setup because this guy is broke and does not have $6 to his name. I guess he thought I would go and then he and his boys would roll me in parking lot afterwards. The only other scenario is that he was just trying to play big shot so I would come back and tell everyone he is a big timer and have lots of cash. I declined the meeting, anyone have a better idea where and when to meet this guy??? I also asked about his girl and he said she is not in Countruy right now. I have asked him 11 times to talk with her and he always has a story she is not home, school and or work.

Ok boys here is what actually took place. About two nights ago me and JJ were talking on the phone and he said it would be a great idea to make a video of us at the track and maybe pull a prank on one of my friends by saying JJ was someone I owed money. I told him I thought it was a great idea and he told me "next time you go to the track call me".
Skip to last night. I go pick up my friend and we are going to our class at 7:05. I stop at the gas station for cigs and then ask him if he really wants to go. He says no, I say lets do something. He says lets go to the track. I hate the ****ing track but agree because I don't want to go to class. We call another friend pick him up and go. I don't know what the **** I am doing, what to bet, how to bet, or anything so I could care less at this point until they tell me what TV to look at and what horses we need. We all give $200 and they go to get a voucher. They come back and go to the screen thing to start placing bets. I wander off to get a drink and go to the bathroom. On my way out of the bathroom I call JJ. (There was no release up to this point Illini).
I tell JJ I am at the track and he should come do that thing we talked about. He said that he was out and busy. I ask him where. He won't tell me. At this point I know he is lying and eating a meatball sandwich like he does every night in his bed. We start bullshitting and I start reading him the Fairfield/Siena score off the bottom of the screen. He tells me how he is doing for the night. I briefly hear another man in the background saying something that sounded like "let me wipe that for you".
I go back and find my friends JJ hears all the screaming as the horses come down the stretch (the black guy next to me may have released). JJ says his phone is going out of service. He says to call me next time I go to track.
End of story.
Sorry to out you JJ. I know you love these stories and normally I go along with you but these guys already think I am a lying piece of shit. I need all the good pub I can get right now.Comment -
