I follow Depaul closely because they are a Chicago team. They are horrible! However this is their playoffs. South Florida played badly down the stretch. Line is extra sharp.

i really would be careful about s florida

depaul sucks but they had injuries all year and are playing "better" than they ever have this year

and remember when they were WINLESS in the regular season but wound up with the upset win in the tourney?

i'm laying off this game but if i had to take a side I'd take depaul

I think south florida is one of those teams that are good as dogs. Simply because of size and rebounding but as favs these factors are not as important, but rather jump shooting, high free throw %, being able to hold on to leads.

Depaul has got to be the play, and i'm saying that even though I really like south florida and cashed with them vs connecticut big.

By my count, DePaul was 0-5 ATS this season as an underdog of less than 10 points. When it was getting double digits it was far more successful (11-4 and the last nine in a row). . . I don't know, maybe a couple of back-door covers. I lean toward USF, but thankfully, I don't have to play this game.

Depaul played alot of close games the last 5 weeks pretty much keeping all loses to single digits...... they key is Mac Koshwal, they have played much better since he was healthy....and they did pretty decent with him before his injury in non conference this year.....

the public and guys like Burt Rapp, just think of the Depaul we've come to know so well over the past few years.... but i'd say they are one of the most improved teams from the beginning of conf play to the end of conf play in the big east this year

when he plays solid they keep it close. first half might be the play, as lately depaul has been going into the half with a pretty large lead and then giving it up in the second half.... see st. john's (16 point lead) S. Florida (5 point lead), (11 point lead) Syracuse (4 point lead)

so they have the talent to actually play with and better than a lot of big east teams for 20 mins.... in fact i'd say 70% of their big east games they have outscored their opponent in ONE of the halves. the trick is which one.....

for this game, i'll take the first half and the full game points.... if they are down at the half, i'm pound the half time line too.

the scariest part of this game, is that S. Florida knows they need to win at least 2-3 games in this tourney to get a chance at the big dance. and they will be fired up for this, and I think a guy like Jones could just take over and carry this team on his back with about 40 today...

South Florida won their last three games, and four of their last 6 down the stretch.

If you want to go back further, they won 9 of their last 12, and the NCAA selection committee uses a "last 10" component to their selection process.

Not sure how this is "playing badly" down the stretch.

If you can get +8 (BoDog/SIA type of books) I'd take the dog. Not sure DePaul can win but they damn sure can cover this number.

whew, just barely but only netted me .33 units, as I was on depaul +8 for the game, and lost depaul first half bet.... but my theory was that they would definately win one half of this game as they almost always do no matter how bad the other half was. But it was a chase play and not a good way to start the day, if that loses you risk tiltage...
