Favorite talk radio? (sports) ESPN gambling?
Colin Cowherd ESPN radio......I like a host who is brash.

Sidenote: Today I have ESPN radio on, the guy is talking point spreads. Win totals for the MLB season.....and the picks he made at the start of the season. Using terms like "book it" when talking about Tampa Bay and a 94 win total.

Deep in the hidden ESPN boardrooms these corporate dickheads know we're (gamblers) out here. Why don't they give us what we want all the time? BigDan pointed out the other day how they sneak those gambling lines and websites in on the odds page. Would they loose the right to broadcast MLB, NFL if they were pro gambling? Probably. Once in a while the radio guys just can't help themselves.

I HATE sports talk radio and even morning radio shows so my opinion would not be valid here...

You got to listen to something at work Sham. I toggle between ESPN and a local rock station. Sometimes you can pick up some info/stats if your handicapping time gets cut short. Gives you some ideas once and a while.

I listen to Alternative Rock at work through out the whole day actually... I toggle between stations for a song I like... In the morning it's a b*tch because most of the stations have morning shows and I have one or two to chose from...

You are right you can get some good info. sometimes... I do listen to it when I am in someone's car and they have it on but it also f*cks with my thinking too...

You listen to rock music..? That's cool maybe I'll start a thread about what songs people like...

I'm a Sirius radio subscriber, I listen to Howard Stern most in the morning.

Sirius also has a decent NFL radio show called the Afternoon Blitz with Adam Schein & Solomon Wilcotts. It's a pretty good show, they do interviews by phone with various people from the NFL every day, have weekly spots with guys like Reggie Bush, John Madden, etc. If you like sports talk radio, you'd like them. They field tons of calls from 3-7pm.

Absolutely love "The Herd" one of the best shows out there. He is very on with all the bs that surrounds sports. Colin is the single best talk radio host slive today! Does not pull punches at all.
