The HURT LOCKER was a great play lastnight, missed the boat on that personally.

I Betcha some of you cleaned up on this.

HURT LOCKER much more "meaningful" of a film in the academy's eyes.

had $140 to win $100 on this...went 3-1 on these and netted about $100...
it seemed like all the favorites won in at least the main 5 - movie, actor, actress, supporting actor, supporting actress.
loved Sandra Bullock winning...

After watching all the people from Avatar who won pretty much suck off James Cameron in all their acceptance speeches as a "genius" blah blah blah, I'm glad his ex-wife one. All you need to know about Bigelow is she did Point Break, a cinematic masterpiece of Keanu-Schwayze excellence. Surfing's the source man.

it would have been a joke if avatar won. the story was boring as shit, but the effects with the 3D was awesome.
i have yet to see the hurt locker, but i can't wait.
