What will the Gonzaga Line be?

I say -1.5 or 2, but everyone I talk to expects the Zaga to be favored by much more. I think Gonzaga should be favored by 7, but no chance they are going to be more than -2.5 right?

that seems to be the consenseus of about 6 people i talked to, but Gonzaga was -6 at home and this game is in Vegas, that would be a huge adjustment. St. Marys was -4 the first time these teams played.

zags will be 11.5 dogs. i know what motel they're staying at on the strip and lets just say they'll be lucky to have more than 90 minutes of sleep going into this game. they'll be playing like leonardo di caprio the way he did in basketball diaries when he took the black ones instead of the red ones. it will be like around the 1 min 11 mark of this vid when that 7'7 bum for gonzaga threw up 2 airballz

Yea but they beat St. Marys by 19 in that game. Two wins by a combined 26 points against this team I think keeps this one at -6.

The Bobcats have beat the Lakers like 5 times in a row, this really has no impact on the line. I think the Zags do match up well, but that is not something that really seems to be factored into lines, especially openers, Gonzaga should open 2 or less, and possible get bet up a little.

why are you worrying about what their "at home" line would be? So what would it be on neutral?

The Zags will be 1-2.5 point favs, that is all.


I think one of the biggest factors in that actual result is the play/shooting of Ben Allen for St. Mary's. When he is shooting well he creates matchup problems for the opposing team's big men, since Samhan still needs to be gaurded by the best big man on the opposing team. Allen is 1-11 behind the Arc in the two games vs the Zags. he is hitting 40.8% against everyone else the rest of the year. I would expect him to regress to the mean in a positive way here and hit 2-3 tonight.


the 3's in general are the biggest keys to this game. St. Mary's is one of the best 3 point shooting teams in the nation, and one of the best team's in gaurding the 3. and handicapping 3 point shooting for any one given game is really unpredictable. they could go 4-22 tonight or 13-25 who knows?

I still expect people to pound that # and hopefully I can get St. Mary's later today at +5 or +5.5 and get the free half point at wagerchief.... just a 1 unit play with a half unit on the ml

Once again the linemakers has made an error producing a line for this game. As I stated earlier this season Gonzaga is the superior team here. Zaga by 10 +.
