You guys have never wished terrible things on people who are being assholes? Really? Not excusing what he said at all, but you guys are blowin this way out of proportion. Attack the guy for being a jackass wife-beater but not for one flippant statement.

At least he's down there helping people. What the hell are the people that criticize him doing? Christ if he didnt go theyd call him selfish but when he does go they bash him for doing it for the wrong reasons. I'd say some pretty off color things about those people too.
