As John Hollinger said today, if Lebron doesn't win this by unanimous vote this year it's just one voter being an extreme homer. Lebron is head and shoulders above everyone. Durant isn't even close right now.

Lebron doesn't want to win? Are you serious? He had money and star power wrapped up years ago.

When did he ever talk about going to Greece? You mean when a reporter asked a question about Europe and he answered politely without actually saying anything of meaning?

                              Lebron is ALL about winning.

And Grind House, once he stomps all over your Magic he will follow it up by winning the Finals MVP.

he said he was thinking about playing in Greece because he could get more money both salary 50 million a year as well as become a global icon. If you think about not playing in the NBA in your prime you do not want to win.

he said he was thinking about doing it to help himself become a billionaire faster

Jesus you can't be serious. He entertained a reporter's question, nothing more, kinda like he used to do with all the speculation about where he'll go after this year.

Watch this kid play basketball then tell me he doesn't care about winning. He was the captain of the Gold Medal team and his NBA team has had the best record for two consecutive years now.

One gold medal, for Lebronze James, what about those disasters in 2004 and 2006? Anybody who does not bring home gold should be banned from the national team.

I want Durant to win it. We've seen James play this way for a couple of years and he hasn't won it before. What makes him the best of the league now that he didnt have two years ago? Durant is the man for the job, lebron is just being lebron. An MVP to me is someone who can win games b/c after hes someone I'd want on my team to win it.

I don't care for Lebron James that much. I will say that his team would be pitiful without him. Thunder would be pretty sorry without Durant. Lakers, Nuggets, Magic would all be just fine without there stars.

Regular season MVP should be an easy pick, I agree. Production wise, James is simply head and shoulders above the rest. Yet, call me old fashioned, but come playoff time, there is no other guy I'd ride with than number 24.

White does not count, too small of a sample size for that sports

Russel/Chamberlain were great but not quality big and strong guys back then

Lebron goes back and forth and is playing with the media. He sounds like a kid that can't make a decision. One minute he says that he wants to win and the next that he wants to be a global icon and increase his star power around the world, being mentioned with people like tiger woods and Michael Jordan. The idea of making a name for himself and becoming global is part of the reason he plans on having number 6 next year rather than 23. He has big things planned and wants his number and symbol (whatever that might end up being) as global as the MJ 23 and airjodan symbol.

The problem is that if he stays in Cleveland he probably isn't going to be as global as if he went to a team like the New York knicks or another team that is relevant on a larger level. Sure the Cavs are relevant in the NBA and are important to the league (especially with Lebron) but who in China or Europe is going to embrace a team in Cleveland? Just some food for though...

Russel/Chamberlain were great but not quality big and strong guys back then

Jordan was a stud as is Woods

So Shaun White doesn't count when millions of kids in the world snowboard? But you count Jimmie Johnson who competes against 42 drivers?

Nobody has ever run away with MVP back to back years in team sports, and there is no end in sight.
