Lets see what happens- too many people crowning the cavs around here. This team has never won a NBA finals game ever. The LAkers are the team to beat. Cavs are still a one man team. If LEbron misses 10 games they would be lucky to win 4 of them.

Will Shaq be there at the end? I say there is a possibility he get's beaten up in the East and is out. Magic aren't gonna roll over (neither are the Mavs/Nuggets in the West) Iono, the Lakers are pretty good (perhaps better than last year with Artest/Ariza swap) I wouldn't count them out and I wouldn't be quick to declare kobe v. lebron a lock either.

the bulls in the 90's and the rockets 94-95 rarely gave their all in the reg season but once the playoffs started they got serious because every gm actually mattered, that's what the lakers are doing. i'm not a laker fan at all in fact more a hater than a fan but if healthy, they simply cannot be beaten in a 7 gm series vs anybody, they are just too good and the quad group of kobe, lamar, pau, bynum, is too good.
they lost today because last night's gm went into OT and by the time they got to charlotte it was 4 am and they simply had no legs today, you have to have fresh legs to win in the reg season........by the playoffs, the lakers will be ready and w/no back to back nights playing they'll be plenty fresh, believe me
No you figure it out. This is the kind of crap that is a corrosion to any forum.
In your title you said you were going to provide a reason they would win.
Then all you did is say you said it first, which is nothing short of moronic.
Mods please ban him immediately.

Steve are you being serious here? He was obviously referring to how the Cavs fought back from down 21 to win last night while the Lakers just laid down to die.

I agree. The only way the Cavs win, IMO, is if Shaq's injury time off is a front for him going to fat camp. If he's on a diet and working out he would create problems in the post especially if he's motivated for LA.
Remeber at the end of his Lakers' days he looked like he was all done? Then he went to Miami all slimmed down and they won. He still managed to gain lot of that weight back through the regular season. I don't think he ever used his potential. Imagine if he had David Robinson's or Hakeem's level of fitness?

Lakers are still the best team in the NBA. In a 7 game playoff series I doubt anybody can beat them. They are just coasting right now and don't really give a shit.
