Could you imagine if Pecos Bill and Manny got stuck in an elevator together..Who knows what the fukk these 2 whack-jobs would talk about. Same goes for the Dodgers season this year. Who knows whats going to happen.. I sure dont.

What's to Like: They have star power, there is no doubt about it. Manny, Kemp, and Eithier are as good an offensive outfield as you're gonna find. It wouldnt be a big deal if all 3 of these guys hit 30 HR's and drove in over 90 Runs, thats pretty hard to match. (the Giants starting outfield may struggle to hit 40 combined)
Furcal is getting old but an old furcal is better than most at short. Blake Dewitt is the guy I think can help these guys the most if he can hit and play a decent second base, this will be a big factor in the Dodgers success this year. Casey Blake at third is kinda like Fishhead, he just gets the job done, nothing flashy, just gets the job done. (Something most posters forget about.. just get the job done and make some money)
I really like the 1-2 punch in the bullpen of Broxton and sherrill. And dont forget they have Belisario out there too. This is definitaley the strength of the team in my opinion. Would not want to be trailing these fukks heading into the 7th inning.
They have 4 Pretty Good starting Pitchers.....

Whats Not To Like: They have 4 Pretty Good Starters (Kershaw, Billingsley, Padilla, and Kuroda) that all could have nice years..but they coud all just as easily have bad years. Kershaw hasnt proven anything to me yet, looks to rely on his changeup way too much. Billingsley was a mess at times last year. Padilla looked to be on Steroids or HGH in the playoffs last year, if he's off the cocktails he could fall fast at any time. Kuroda is probably the most consistent but he has the least amount of talent. These guys all having a good year would be like hitting a 4-team parlay.. just dont see it happening.
Not to sold on R.Martin and J.Loney. Loney hit .280 with 13 HR's last year which is nice if you think guys like Scott Hatteburg win Titles..Martin is looking more and more like a bust and might even lose playing time.
Any time you have Manny in left field it has to be mentioned as something not to like. I think the guy doesnt belong in the NL but what do I know.. For every 2 doubles the guy hits he probably gives one up in the field with his lack of range.

Recap:This team just seems like they should be so much better but when you look at them closer they just dont compare to the top notch clubs anymore. 84 games seems about right for these guys given the fact you dont really know what to expect. I'll pass on this future.
