The guy obviously knows how to run a Sportsbook due to his huge success. Why doesn't SBR offer him a premium for his points, maybe 20-25c per point (this can be negotiated), and then once he surrenders his points let him run the SBR book. In this way he gets reimbursed for his points with a sweetened deal and he brings his business and customers to SBR where he can implement all the features of his book that made it successful and the #1 independent book in the points industry.
Why doesn't SBR buyout MexStallion's operation and hire him to run the SBR book?

#6But the problem is your own book underperforms and you chose to try and slowly suffocate the competition which when you succeed you will still have to address the fact that your operation is underpeforming where you can kill two birds with one stone by making the competition join your forces and bring their expertise and customers on board.Comment -

#7They should just make a 10% fee to transfer points to other people and run him out of buisness.

#8This is what I thought they should have done. But it is obvious they like the traffic volume he genenerates so they are hoping by the 1% tax he will still be in business for a while dying a slow death and still generate traffic volume for ratings. If they hit him with a 10% tax they run the risk of losing all the traffic volume he generates at once instead of gradually.Originally posted by RichkasThey should just make a 10% fee to transfer points to other people and run him out of buisness.

#10Not a bad idea to have him work for SBR not sure if he would fit in or would move to CR or if we are even hiring. SBR is a hard place to work but he can throw his hat in if he wants.
Debate away but a fee is very fair. SBR pays for the point infrastructure completely at great expense and now there is a tiny bit of shared cost for the black market ops= fair. We could just turn off the transfer function altogether and that would be that. But this is a good solution although obviously no one gets excited about a transaction fee.Comment -

Why is anyone a deadbeat or bottom feeder in this thread??
Mex payed over 50 points in tax yesterday. His book functions better than SBR book right now, that is a fact.
I happen to agree with the OP's suggestion, if you dont you should have said that.
But of course you chose to just spew ignorance as usual. You are by far the single biggest waste of space we have on this forum.Comment -

#13Third grade insults ago BRAVO. Mex would not have a business without SBR. Does that make sense to your tiny brain?Originally posted by FishFace5Do you read threads or just blindly post pure crap? 50 points is nothing; your food service job probably pays less though.
Keep up the great capping guy.Comment -

#14Why can't people have an argument about a topic like SBR_John does without having to act like buffoons? I can't see what BPl said but I'm guessing he is either insulting my mom, my job or my capping skills.Comment -

#15hahah nah, just pointing out that people are still complaining about free stuff- despite the fact that its been explained that this move offsets some costs slightly and helps sbr (the company thats giving us all this free stuff) flourish at a rate where they can continue to offer these unique services.Originally posted by pavyracerWhy can't people have an argument about a topic like SBR_John does without having to act like buffoons? #16But, Mex was in business before the SBR Book.. He was here for the people from the beginning.. I remember post where John was praising for his great work.. And now, to try to snub out his business without any warning disappoints me.. A heads up this was gonna happen would have been a reasonable thing to do.. This tax will not affect me much, as i only transfer points to posters for a funny or informative post, but its sad the way they are treating Mex..Originally posted by BatemanPatricklMex would not have a business without SBR.
