#22Originally posted by iceminers26and the messed up part is it was probably on an NBA game, that takes balls
lakers -12. they won by 19. rockets made a huge run near the end to bring to 15 then lakers hit a couple of baskets. i will never do that again because i had to go and watch the game with the bookies(asians) and have the cash upfront. fukk i thought they were gonna kill me and take the money anyways, but great guys they paid me on the spot and told me to fukk offComment -

#30I'm a big bettor but not that much on an individual game. So I think the most I've ever won on an indivual game was $3,000 on Tampa Bay in the Super Bowl a few years back. Plus I had some on the total & some props so I think it ended up being close to a $5,000 night.
My dad & some of his friends came over to my place that morning & we started drinking. Then more people showed up. We all went to a sports bar to watch the game & met up with more people & was getting hammered on free beer because we were with the sales manager for the local anheuser busch bottler. At halftime we went back to my apartment & I think between the 9 of us we had around $75,000 wagered on TB and the over. In the 3rd when TB had a big lead & it went over my dad was shitfaced & wanted to go to the strip club. So we did!!!
One dude in our entourage was mildly retarded, he worked with my dad & he always makes fun of him. I take that back, he's pretty retarded. My dad drunk taking a retard to the mainstage getting him lapdances is an image I'll never get out of my head! A classic night indeed!Comment -

#35Risked about $8,000 to win $5,000 - Andy Murray in early 2009. That was a stupid bet.
Biggest amount I won: $14,000 NL Hold'em pot."I have never seen a wild thing feel sorry for itself. A little bird will fall dead, frozen from a bough, without ever having felt sorry for itself."
