I don't think Billy Crystal is gonna be in the lineup today for the Yankees



Fifth-starter candidate Chad Gaudin will start, with a pack of pitchers set to follow. Sergio Mitre, Alfredo Aceves, Jonathan Albaladejo, Wilkins Arias, Jason Hirsh, Royce Ring, Amaury Sanit and Zack Segovia have been instructed to be at the ready.
As for the lineup, Girardi said that fans should expect some very familiar faces to be digging in against Pirates starter Paul Maholm

lineup is filled with guys with "potential" but that have not really ever done anything at the MLB level.

not sure how you think this lineup can compete this year, when in past years pirate lineups with established MLB all-star caliber players didn't come close to competing....

at what position are the 2010 Pirates upgraded over the 2009,2008,2007 versions?

pitching is about it.....31 year old Iwamura and both Crosby and Cedeno are about even for Jack and Freddy value I think with the bat and to be seen defense side

lol, well we can all dream I guess. but after 17 years of saying/hearing about competing in 2 years or a "5 year play"..... you have to see it to believe it first....

Here's to Laroche, Lastings, and Clement all Exceeding their prospect projections from 3-4 years ago.....
