It always cracks me up to hear people talk about how they "handicap" a game. I mean, do you guys really think that you are going to find some stat or trend that Vegas didn't already factor in when they set the line to begin with?

Every game you bet is essentially a coin flip. As Nicky would tell you, the only way to win long term is to consistently beat the closing number.

It is kind of like the stock market.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy gambling as much as the rest of you, but if you think it is anything other than that, you are just kidding yourself and wasting your time.

Yeah it's funny when people say like "Dallas is going to lose ATS today because they are on back to back..." Vegas knows they are on friggin back to back! You think Vegas didn't check the schedule?
