come on now. there are horrible, terrible, inexplicable beats one after the other in baseball. that's a little idealistic to think in a 160+ game regular season these "men with integrity" aren't taking nights off, regardless of whether or not they have enough integrity to be taking steroids.

In 90% of NBA games, you need to watch only the 4th quarter to see the whole game. The 1st 3 quarters are usually meaningless.

NBA is alot more physical than people realize. its a contact sport for certain and played a much higher physical demand than baseball........and the travel is the hardest compared to other sports. you really have to think about these issues when capping a team. you can't just assume that an east coast team that is really GOOD is gonna win on the 5th game of a 7 game 13 day circus trip on the west coast vs phoenix....... just because they have a better record.

the NBA is a grind..... in college football you go from 12-14 games to 16 in basketball you go from 35 to 81...... and a new city EVERY night

They try in the last 4 or 5 minutes of the game, and in the playoffs too. For me this has always been one of the biggest problems with the NBA. yawn yawn yawn

The vast majority of NBA players would be in jail if it wasn't for basketball.

When you're dealing with people of low morality and no character, it doesn't matter how much money you throw at them because they will never change.

There are some exceptions and a few of the players in the NBA are really good people. Unfortunately, those are few and far between.

Baseball players have their own issues and most aren't fan friendly either. One notable exception is all the players on the Minnesota Twins who won their division in a playoff last year and then stayed on the field for quite a while running around the stadium after the game and high fiving all the fans.

Football players take the most risk day in and day out and seem to have the right attitude when it comes to fans which is part of the reason why most fans enjoy watching and betting on football more than any other sport.

BTW, only Kobe's fame and fortune kept him out of prison.

As far as O.J. Simpson is concerned, that case showed how racist blacks really are. When O.J. was acquitted thus getting away with the brutal murder of 2 white people, blacks around the country celebrated. One can only imagine if a high profile white man brutually murdered a black couple and got away with it.

The Rodney King riots would have been nothing in comparison.

Kobe Bryant, a "star" in every sense of the world rapes a woman in a hotel room. However, since the girl also filed a civil suit against him and there isn't any direct proof of rape, perhaps he deserves the smallest of passes though certainly NOT from his wife.

Michael Vick is convicted of running a massive dogfighting ring.

Plaxico Burress brings a loaded gun into a nightclub and shoots himself with it.

"PacMan" Jones goes crazy in a Las Vegas nightclub and shoots a paralyzed man.

It only shows that all the money in the world won't change what people really are.
