I snapped these today when I went to see my parents. They live in a very rural area that is very high elevation. There has been snow up there for 3 weeks, but go 5 miles down the mountain and nothing

35 miles, very nice. I love the mountains of Tennessee. We used to go there as a family when I was a kid and travel through the Smoky's and camp. Good stuff! My old man was a huge fan of North Carolina so we all learned to like it or find another family to vaction with

i was amazed when i was locked up in Mississippi it snowed down there once and half the guys had never seen snow....guess i never really realized that ppl havnt seen snow before

I have alot of friends in Florida who had never seen snow. They come to visit in the winter now just because of it. I grew up in the mountains and love getting away from them & everyone else wants to vacation in the mountains. I guess everyone just gets sick of what they're used to.

Very cool...looks greener than hell in the fall. I'm in AZ so green is not a color here, it is alien to see green like that

This one is taken from the other side of the silo looking at the other mountain. This is a big valley completely surrounded by mountains. It's like a bowl sitting on top of 3 mountains

I prefer florida weather too!!! What's nice about here though is you really get 4 distinct seasons. Fall is the best by far, it's beautiful

Never been to AZ but spent some time in Texas & New Mexico. Going from west texas into Clovis on into Albaquerque blew my mind. Flat as hell & just nothing as far as you can see.
