I like iverson for that. he takes care for his ill child and stays away from the game for her, thats exactly what a good father should do.
he doesn't have to prove anything in the nba, he will always be known as a great scorer, he has earned enough money, so why go out and play if his daughter needs him more?

His performance was alright, relative to teammates. Might make a decent roleplayer if he actually plays. I never considered him a great player; evidence wasn't there.
