illegal defense rules were thrown out, and they just added a defensive 3 seconds rule

Rule has been gone, Dallas played zone against Atlanta this past Friday, it kinda takes some of the athleticism away from teams, smart to play against the Atlanta and Denver types, I don't think its necessarily good for the pro game though, good day
