West Coast Teams I think got the best Black players. JThompson did get a lot of Great players. Big East Conference in general get the best East Coast Black players and especially the NYC kids.

To me Pac-10 and the UNLV's of the world get or got the best. The weather is a big factor.

It is funny grew up in the area and some people think Georgetown is not a good school or has a high black % because of Thompson's recruiting

Nope. Just the hungriest. He loved underdog players, not blue chippers. I can only think of 3 top flight high school players who went there. Reggie Williams, Ewing, and Mourning.
