textnow for ipod

I am using textnow with my ipod touch and while I can receive texts without a problem whenever I send them out it shows it sends but the recipient doesn't receive it. I send a few test texts to my own phone and while it send them out I never received them

nope, download a free app called textnow, they have a lite and a paid version and you get your own @textnow.me address for people to text you for free, works on iphone as well so that's a work around to paying for ATT texting

it only works for people that have text now installed
I do not think you can text to lets say a phone that uses verizon unless they have text now also
