the UNLV starting 5 was Greg Anthony, Anderson Hunt, Stacey Augmon, Larry Johnson, & George Ackles. Seems like they were fair.

He gets the guys that have high SAT's and ACT's, if he could get the John Walls in there he would. He had Jayson Williams a few years back and did pretty well. The QB at syracuse, Powlus, not so good. He wins with what he has. If he could get the Cousins, Walls, Wesley ,Johnsons, and Scottie Reynolds all the time it would not be fair. He beats top athletic teams with his coaching all the time, every year.

Of course they had a good team but I do not feel they were more talented at all than

Duke was a younger team and of course not undefeated but they had 4 NBA players, UNLV played a weak schedule and a fast pace of course they were a good team but I don't see how this could be considered a big upset, talent level was even to me. Tark was a good coach too though.

Duke won't win a NCAA title anytime soon. They would have to get way more athletic. Lower their academic standards. I am a huge notre Dame fan and that is why they ruined their Football program. Coach Holtz otherwise known as GOD was trying to bring in Athletes. The school railroaded him because they wante dto uphold their academic standards. Why should one team have to uphold this when everyone else doesn't?
Anyone that thinks even white student athletes at major programs go to class or do well is so out of the loop. ATHLETES DON"T GO TO CLASS. They take TV courses and online stuff that they can have booster kids take for them. IT is a TOTAL Joke!!!
Lou Holtz should have been able to bring in THUGS and ATHLETES like he wanted to. Why be the exception to the rule.

Hey Coach K. You aren't Coach Knight you can't win by the book. You are paying mcDonalds all-american players and the world knows it. Just because a coach turns his back and tries to act like he doesn't know it's going on doesn't mean he is innocent.

DUKE SUCKS and won't win shitt in the tourney. We will see how those white players fair against guys jumping out of the gym in the tourney.

I believe Coack K picks kids who come from good families. He does this because he knows that he can brainwash these kids and turn them into robots on the court.

You won't hear many heart warming stories of Coack K helping out at risk youth with college scholarships like many other good college coaches do.

I know a black player who played for Duke, Demarcus Nelson. Straight out of Vallejo high, but came from a good family. Once Coach K got a hold of him, he had him transfer out to a high school in Elk Grove (predominantly white) for his senior year. Him and his whole family relocated ASAP (wonder if Coach K had anything to do with this, doubt it). They wanted to get the hell out of grimey Vallejo as soon as they could.

Last time I seen any of the family was his father at the barber shop a few days after he committed to Duke, he was the happiest guy ever. Happy that he was getting the hell out of Vallejo.
