Charlie Murphy sucks!

I really like him on Chappelles show, but his stand up sucks. He's not his brother!
They are airing an uncut stand up special on comedy central of him & it will put you to sleep. Stand up is an art form different from all other comedy, & he doesn't possess it!!! There's no punchlines, no stage presence, it's just fukin awful!

For a change of pace I watched the 2 Chappelle shows and was going to watch Charlie Murphy.....I turned it off after 15 minutes.

Murphy is good for short skits, but not good enough to carry a whole comedy show by himself.

Not many people can do both stand-up and sketch comedy. It's a complete different style. Dana Carvey great at both. Chris Rock better at stand up IMO although he got his start in sketch

Yeah, Chappelle stand up is good, but his sketch is great! Rock's sketch is good but stand up is great.

Not many people can do both stand-up and sketch comedy.
