Trying to cash my first bet today ND +11. So many times have I won the first bet of the day then gone on to make serious hits for the rest of the afternoon and night. You win that first play it sets the tune for everything else. You the lose first game, mentally it knocks you off your game.

That is so true. I have found through the years though that is the one I seldom hit. I might as well take money on that 12:00 play & wipe my ass & flush it. It's all that mentality of wanting to get up quick & early, just doesn't work for me.
