8.8 earthquakes and tsunamis don't happen everyday Duece..
Anything is better then hearing propaganda about how we need universal health care and how were all going to die from climate change..Amazing how truely fukkin stupid people are. Let's let millions of people into the country and give them anything they want and trick the people that were already herethat they need to pay double the taxes because "we" are hurting the planet..Whoever is found to be behind this nonsense should be hung by his balls..Pavyracer probably knows him personally..

It is all an exercise. If there were really a chance of a huge tsunami, it would have been spotted soewheres in the Pacific by now. They have all kinds of alert systems. I guess we will see, but Enogsiwon is right. This beats having to listen to those morons tell us how badly we need a new healthcare system.

Hope it's not serious, 8.8 is a very big earthquake! At least they got plenty of time to evacuate and get everyone to safety.

Exactly, what a dumb statement to make. They can go to higher ground, but that's about it.

Well, no excuses for anyone to die here, they have had plenty of time. But I'm sure there will be some people that will refuse to leave their beachfront home.

Those faultlines run all over hell under the pacific, the quake can cause a tsunami anywhere in the pacific theoretically, even San Fran. Crazy shit!

I know they have ways of determining some of where they may hit...but there always seems to be those that go undetected...man, this could get really bad

There's these things called mountains...
My dad is in Hawaii on business. I just talked to him and he's heading up to a friend's property where he can look over the whole island. Should be a great view. Hopefully things won't be too bad.

I think he's pretty high up. If the tsunami is big enough to wipe him out where he is than there's pretty much no other place he could go to be safe. It shouldn't get anywhere near that far in .....one would hope.
