Starting A Tout Website

I am looking to start a website to tout make picks for purchase. I was wondering what, if any, legality issues I will run into with regards to this. Are there certain disclaimers I will need to place on the website? Anyone familiar with starting a tout website?

you're probably going to get shit on for the next 24 hours on this thread...people here rarely pay for picks, and for good reason. If you want to gain any sort of customers, post your picks for free here first and if you do well maybe...but then you will get banned for trying to sell your picks if you do it on the forum.

i dont know about any legal issues..its the moral issues i got a problem with as im not into ripping ppl off, good luck with that though hope you fail miserably and end up homeless

this is how I would do it

offer one or two picks for free everyday

make people pay if they want to log into the site and see all your picks

put a disclaimer on the site "for information purposes only"

call the fee to log into your website a "donation"

Basically by having a tout website, you're declaring to the governing bodies you are a professional... it would worry me to do that.

I had a site selling picks fir a while. It's easy to setup to paypal too. I had a few regulars that continued to buy even when my picks were losing big time. Kinda shocking really. Felt kinda shitty about it plus it got to a pain in the ass to post pucks and write ups so I took it down. Made a little cash but don't recommend doing it.
