I actually max bet the baseball props and reduced baseball lines daily and still they never gave me a problem ever.

Kaps, I never once chased steam or past posted them and I didn't even wager on many props. I hit a whole bunch of high paying 5 team parlays as well as having a whole bunch of small wins and my limits were cut with each withdrawal. The first withdrawal featured a 50% cut in limits, the 2nd withdrawal resulted in my limits being cut a total of 80% and my 3rd withdrawal resulted in my horseracing privileges being revoked even though I lost 45 out of 46 horse race bets in the preceeding month. I spoke to Tony on each occassion and while he congratulated me on my "betting prowess" (his words), he said that he runs a business and felt my betting was not likely to be profitable.

If you chase steam, he will certainly limit you quicker. However, your account limits will be cut @ 5 Dimes no matter what you bet on if you win a designated amount. 5 Dimes is a great book for the low-limit recreational player with all of the options they offer. However, for a higher limit more serious bettor, they provide a short-term "out" only. The only way to avoid having your limits cut at 5 Dimes is to either bet small amounts or LOSE.

They are not even in the same league as the Greek, Bookmaker or Pinnacle who openly take on all comers as they manage their book properly as opposed to having to manage their customers.

For the record, I don't have an axe to grind with 5 Dimes or Tony as he was courteous enough in all of my live chat conversations with him. He never once used any foul language and certainly never threatened me like this bogus OP is claiming.

However, its important that everyone understands that 5 Dimes is NOT a viable long-term option for the serious, winning, high limit bettor.

My wife would never come into the equation. If someone took me for 13K there would be small Panamanian men under his bed waitin for him to bend down to grab his slippers while he's packing. I've done a hell of alot more for a hell of alot less.

I don't know tony& have never dealt with 5dimes as a client, I've spoken with them on some other business transactions & seemed very nice. Books know people can win & they are gonna pay you. As far as the games being played after tip, I don't understand why the games are still offered after tip! That's 5D problem for having a software glitch.

However, searching for "5dimes tony problems" or derivatives of this turns up myriad posts from all over the Internet that relate a similar story to what the OP said. I read through dozens of accounts of similar situations when contemplating opening an account with 5d. I haven't heard of any physical threats from Tony before this thread, so I tend to think that may have been out of character for Tony or a blatant lie by the OP. Who knows? But it is certainly more than 2 or 3 people at SBR who feel like 5dimes does what they can to avoid paying winners.

ive read up on the site extensively lately as i am a new user. the people seem to mostly be saying they are treated rudely, having their limits cut and/or being banned from wagering there.

lots of people here use 5d and thereby expect them to pay. i dont think that is the issue- if sbr contacted a book they have listed as A+ that didnt pay their winners and they didnt do anything about it- you better believe they'd get dropped down a couple notches.
