MODS: Error Editing Posts???

When I attempt to edit a post of mine, I get this message:

Shortstop, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: - Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? - If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Will someone help me out?

Obey the rules and maybe they will allow you to edit your posts again

There are some threads you can't edit posts. Like if it's a contest thread you have to post a play. I had this happen to me before.
