a significant drop across the board, majority of teams and conferences are down as a whole, dont know why because it's not like more guys declared than normal, it must be because last yr had tons of seniors who all graduated, either way, the dominance we saw in the top 15 last 3 yrs is simply not there, it's making certain conf's look better than they actually are, and certain teams as well

march is gona be WILD folks

remember, since '07 which was the first yr of the nba's rule that draftees had to spend a yr out of HS either in college or elsewhere, no seed lower than #2 has made the final 4 except for villanova last yr (#3 seed)

so that's 12 seeds making the final 4 the last 3 seasons and only 1 of them below a 2-seed. that says a lot. the yrs and yrs before that, seeds lower than 2 made the final 4 all the time, all the freaking time

maybe more of the same this yr the way it used to be!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont think any major conf has improved except the big 10, maybe the mid-majors have a few more but certainly not the majors, seems every single conf is down except the big-10

the sec, pac-10, acc, big east, big 12, are all down, quite a bit down imo

definitely no insanely good team out there. I think there will be many upsets in the tourney, it will be madness for sure. Kentucky won't make it to the final 4, kansas could with collins and aldrich. I think duke is poised to do well with their veterans.

the big dance has almost gone to script the last few years. Things were too predictable and the power conferences owned. Maybe this is a shot against the mid-majors (unable to field teams to compete with the big dogs) but the tourney should be more enjoyable as a fan of college basketball and to predict them cinderellas.

yes, and the easy answer is that this started in 07 right after the nba instituted the rule that players must be out of HS at least 1 yr in order to be draft eligible. the last 3 yrs the tourney has been very predictable. highly doubt it'll be this yr
