    Does anyone use Stubhub?
Sell tickets for a profit. Less than 2 months ago I bought tickets to the Eagles concert on ticketmaster for 420 and sold them less commission for 625. I am thinnking about doing it for big baseball games this year. I was just wondering if anyone else does this.

no, don't know much about selling tix but yeah, absolutely could make a profit if you buy right away and sell last minute kind of "deal" for 4x the price

Sold once through them desperate situation; had to unload concert tickets in a hurry.
Was impressed all the way around as a seller.

only if you have hot ticket items

average baseball game you will have to cut your price in half off original face to even sell it

stub hub is good if you got free tickets and want to sell them, it is not aprofit site unless you have tickets to big time events that are sold out.

They charge 15% off the selling price - I am putting extra NCAA BAsketball tourney tickets on their right now.

I agree, only hot ticket games are worth the investment risk. Also, they got to be good seats. No one wants to pay a premium for some everyday garbage.

You can get away with shitty seats when it comes to an Eagles concert because people are just trying to get into the building.

Opening day games for baseball are hot ticket items. It could be profitable snatching up opening day tickets to all the big market teams like Yankees, Mets, Cubs, Red Sox etc.

However, during the regular season, it will be very dead. Gotta remember 162 games. Yankee games will always be profitable. When the Yankees come to Oakland every year. It is the only scalpable game the A's have all year, regardless of date.

The next big scalping session will be March Madness. People will pay ridiculous prices just for first round regional games. I believe they sell them in strips.

Re-selling tickets is like any other investment, it comes with risk.

Thanks for the input guys. That's exactly what I was thinking. Angels tickets go on sale on Saturday morning early. I was going to try and catch opening night and the Friday night when they play the Yankees and Dodgers.
