Is it just me, or has the quality of PT really went down last few days?

Threads about chicken wings, who eats eggs, dad wanting insulting poetry, and as always, reflections of insecurity with Pecos Bill! Somethings gotta give here guys!

I dont think the younger guys on here have a clue just how big Travolta was in the late seventies.........with Saturday Night Fever, Grease and Urban Cowboy back to back to back it was unreal how much of an impact the guy had.........

Hard to imagine any actor these days pulling off shit like he did..........do you know how hard is is to dance like he did let alone the acting..........Travolta was unreal........

You also had to remember not only did his movies dominate the screen but the music in them were all over the radio at the time.........

A time before MTV........so everytime you heard a song from those 3 movies you would think of him........

He basically owned Top Movies and Radio from like 78-80

Whats funny is no males I was around with at that time looked at him as gay but looked at JT as one cool guy who could friggin dance.........this from jocks, druggies you name it..........Guys wanted to be him and girls wanted to be with him...........

Travota then became major star again with some huge movie hits

guy has been a stud his whole life in the acting business

Was great also in the sitcom welcome back kotter

The music dominated the world during that time frame and made cocaine, and guidos and club dancing big presences in our society forever
