Don't use your credit card for western union
I just saw that I got a $30 fee for using western union service by my credit card company. I didn't realize this until my statement today. I have been billed in the past many times around $10 - $40 fee. They treated the western union payment as a ATM fee. I looked at my older statement and seeing I lost more then $400 within 2 months on these dumb fee's.

So for those with restrict on your card watch out for these western union credit card fee's you going to be sending the book.

Example I use a capital one card online to use it on western union to send to a bookie. I want to send $300 to that book. Now $300 + western union fee is lets say $320. I am fine with that. Now I have no idea the credit card has charge me an extra $30 for fees of using western union. So now the total is $350, when I thought it will only be $330. The credit card company is charge me the same price as if I was to go to the ATM and withdraw cash.

Maybe you could get them to pay the finance charges on your credit card also.

Capital One considers this transaction as a (cash advance) therefore they will charge you a fee.The fee they charged me was $10 I recommend in the future that you use a debit card instead of a credit card. Also Western Unions fees a based on a sliding scale so the more you send the more you pay go to Walmart and pay $12 to get youre money sent.

You send **...they pick up cash. Would be a nice racket if it was fee less. And as BTJ suggested, the book should pick up all fees

its been a cash advance forever with these clowns for MOST cards.

though i can't remember who was saying they used this method, and it wasn't considered a cash advance and made a fortune on points doing this.

Cash at the grocery store is the best way to do a ** transaction with an offshore......Most books will cover the deposit fee of $300 or more.
