Cubs are +1500-+2000 at a lot of books to win the WS. Does anyone else think this is worth a unit. Or +1000 to win the NL Pennant? Could this be the year?

True, Saints were never lovable until Katrina ripped their city apart. They were just bad. At least Cubs have always been interesting.

unfortunately for the cubs, the cardinals are completely stacked and will probably have the best record in the NL, so right off the bat they are competing for a wild card spot... which I just don't see them getting. sorry bud!

Very interesting thread, considering I am a big time Saints and Cubs fan, along with LSU.

First of all, I am glad to see new ownership. A step in the right direction. If Zambrano keeps his mouth shut, and controls his temper, if Aramis Ramirez stays healthy, along with Derek Lee, and if Marlon Bryd just shows up everyday,(unlike Milton Bradley) the Cubs might have a shot.
