Even the fly by night underfunded turn key sportsbooks should be customer friendly with fast payouts this time of year being that it's bowl and NFL playoff season approaching.If a sportsbook goes out of business now they really have to be in rough shape.I notice the snail mail fliers and unsolicited telephone calls are picking up to get people to become members at sportsbooks with either no track records or a dicey reputations.They all want to be Santa Claus giving small free bets and gifts in the mail which is nice.It's kind of embarrassing though having to go to the post office window everyday to pick up 2006 girlie calendars and swimsuit DVD's.Can't they wrap this stuff in brown paper wrappers.hehe!They give other nice stuff too like footballs,t-shirts,CD cases etc.etc.At what level do you have to bet to get the really good stuff?hehe!I hear tell alot of bar owners gather up referals from their customers and get comped trips to Costa Rica and Vegas all the time.I met a 40 year old guy in Laughlin that was an admitted compulsive gambler that moved to Nevada from Chicago who said he lost the better part of a million dollars gambling.The guy looked,talked and acted just like one of Da Bear's guys on the old Saturday Night Live.He gambled on anything and everything.He said his mail box was bursting at the seems everyday with free comps and he never took advantage of them.You would think that people that lost the farm would try to recover it one piece at a time instead of going further into debt gambling.I know people who lost a ton of money and went cold turkey on gambling and they get huge comps sent to them in the mail and they won't even set foot in the casino to grab the free loot and run because they feel they will start gambling again.Now that is sick!Has anyone here ever received a whale sized comp from an online casino-poker room-sportsbook they care to brag about?
