College Admins "concerned" over ESPN covering lines and covers?
To me, this seems long past due with the popularity and acceptance of DFS sites like FanDuel and Draft Kings but still why is this such a shocker and surprise that a sports venue would mention lines? Are they merely going on record in case student athletes get caught up in more point shaving as if this hasn't been going on forever?

Legal and illegal sports gambling brings in billions of dollars every year in the U.S. and ESPN's tapping into it for content during the intermediate stages. Most college administrators aren't happy.

Do they not remember the Leanard's Losers radio show and PigSkin Pickem' series or the days before internet sites where you simply opened up the sports pages of the local newspaper and lines were posted in there as well? Why the focus now?

Fuk 'em. They have no problem taking ESPN's money (and every other broadcast partner). Don't like it? Give the money back. Until then stfu. Hypocrites.

The brainwashing they do to create liberals is far more concerning, and they worried about college lines lol

only a matter of time before Brandon Lang gets his show. It should be JJ's but no way would ESPN bite.

Corbin has more of an eclectic star power, not translating into standard TV format at this point in time.

Completely agree with this. In no other sport do you ever hear commentators talking about the spread in live commentary.

I live down under and because the sports books sponsor basically all the codes here they do a pre game thing and half time also but it's all advertising related and very brief, the commentators don't talk about who they think looks good at the spread and certainly never mention it in game.

Watching ESPN this year I think I've heard gambling being referenced in play nearly every game.

You wouldn't be able to understand what JJ was saying. ESPN would beep out every time he said, "fukk". You'd think it was a test of the emergency broadcast system.

Well that didn't take long now did it? Hopefully enough people will come together to get the momentum back for all of us 'sub culture' members.
