When will other non-U.S. books start doing this I wonder?
While I was searching through the SBR archives tonight. I noticed that NordicBet denies access to U.S. residents to even browse there website in order to just check it out.

In case anyone was curious what the messege I was getting was, well here it is:

Thank you for your interest in NordicBet!

NordicBet.com is not operating in this geographic area. If you are visiting this territory you will not be able to use NordicBet's services for the duration of your stay. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact us at support@nordicbet.com.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

    Best regards,

    Team NordicBet

This book is nothing special, because they will cut your limits in a heartbeat if your a professional player. I mean I don't know about the rest of you guys living in the states, but this is the first time I've ever experienced seeing such a thing.

This book is worth moving out of the country for.

Pinnacle? Nah. It's all about "NDB".

I just checked the site out and it is nothing special. No NFL or baseball odds so why would anyone in this country be interested. However if you have the urge to bet Bandy......

16.03.2008 14:00 Bets stand even if team is replaced.
      Västerås SK/BK 2.50
      Sandvikens AIK/BK 3.50
      Edsbyn 4.00
      Villa/Lidköping 7.00
      Vetlanda 10.00
      Hammarby IF/BK 12.00
      Falu BS/BK 30.00
      Bollnäs 40.00
      Broberg/Söderhamn 50.00
      IFK Vänersborg 150.00
      Sirius 250.00
      Gripen/Trollhättan 500.00
      Tillberga 500.00

Well your right Helmut, It's not a book Americans would want to play at. However, It just struck me odd that we were blocked from even browsing there site.

That's funny. I'm sure lots of Americans just got out of a coma and need to contact NordicBets CS for a briefing.

There are a few others. Right now Scandicbookmakers comes to mind and I know when I travel to the US the last few times Party Poker and Party bets tells me I'm located in a country that is prohibitted. I can't even log on to withdraw money.
