Always check Kayak first. Then from there, pick the flight you want and book directly from that airline's site. Also worth checking out Southwest since those flights don't show up on Kayak searches. GL.

I fly to Vegas round trip for less than a hundred bucks. I usually do it in advance and it usually ends up about 30-45 each way. Only a 49 minute flight for me as well.

Allegiant Air has the cheapest flights to Vegas (from the West Coast at least). They fly from non-major airports but usually are from places that are reasonably close to major metro areas.
