My Bank is charging a $50 Fee for out of country check

Is this normal practice. Sportbook.com sent me a check from out of the country. And my bank says that is a $50 fee. What should I do?

I use chase, b of a , and a credit union. Never had a fee that high for anything gambling related. Especially no fee depositing a check. B of a did charge a 3% fee on overseas purchases on debit tho. What bank u use?

I'm guessing that it's a small bank. No way a major bank will charge you $50 to cash an out of country check. Time to find a new bank, and close your accounts.
