Wow...you certainly know how to take the air out of a joke. Carpe Diem means "Seize the Day" if my Latin is serving me correctly. Perhaps it should be "Seize the ****ing life out of a joke with tangential comments." Or it could be simply Carpe Lifeforce.

i just showed this thread to a friend of mine, i thought he would find it funny how i was making fun of you

but he actually thinks youre a "good writer", his words, not mine

he's an agent for writers, so I guess that's why he's so attuned to whos a "good writer" and whos not. novels and screenplays is what he does.

He asked me if you have ever written anything at all, a novel, a screenplay, whatever, if so he wants to see it, get in touch, he was like "I can tell this guy has 'it'"

Having "it" is supposedly some great compliment from an agent, he used it in reference to you

Ahhh, Carpe, now you're screwin' with me. You've read some of my previous posts and you realize I have written a novel. Nice touch. I'm not new to the rodeo my friend. And by the way, why do you keep on insisting I'm jealous of you? And at the same time you volunteer that your life is "not that great". Listen to me, I in no way, shape or form wish a bad life on anyone. Behind these screens we say what we would never say out loud. I am truly sorry if your life is not what you had envisioned for yourself. I take no pleasure in that regardless of what you say to me and how you say it. Your anguish gives me no relief and I take no solace in your misery. I wish you nothing but prosperity and I truly hope whatever tribulations you are experiencing become a distant memory.
