Stations don't care if u watch the commercials or not ... They are making a boatload with them so if they can get away with that and still get the audience who will either watch them, go do something during them, TiVo thru them it's nothing off their backs... It's the stupid companies that spend so much money on them that gets me

I understand complaining about commercials normally, but last night was fukking great. No timeouts in international hockey, shit was amazing. Obviously for hockey there's going to be a lot of non-hockey times, but that's what happens with intermissions, would be the same if you were there...

We will continue to see more and more commercials in live sports, because they are usually watched LIVE.

If it is a social situation you can visit through the commercials. If I am just watching a game on my own, it is pretty rare not to have the notebook computer open to the Internet. Problem is, I have found that the game becomes secondary to the Internet even when it is on.

I have pretty much quit watching normal programming due to commercials. I do watch a ton of DVDs on my treadmill, and even that is impacted by the change in commercials. Recent series (anything in the last 5 years) takes 42 minutes to watch an hour-long episode. I was watching Kung-Fu from 1973, and an episode lasts 51 minutes.

There are only two sports I can stand watching now. WC/UEFA soccer (where they don't dare interrupt the game with commercials, but they do put dumb emblems on the screen) and boxing. You can completely avoid commercials in both of these with a little planning.

But WTF? I hate commercials. This crap needs to get reversed.

Do 5-10 push ups or 30-50 crunches between commercial breaks. Unless you are already on a workout regiment, then i don't know what to tell you. Other than that don't watch the games.
