Team USA Hockey fans root for Sweden tonight

Team USA will get the number 1 seed unless Finland beats Sweden tonight during regulation play. If the game goes to OT or if Sweden beats Finland then USA gets #1 seed.

The Sweden/Finland game looks very important to the USA medal chances if you look at the seeding.

Russia is #3
Canada is #6
seeds 4 and 5 will be: Finland/Sweden loser, Czech
Slovakia is #7
Switzerland is #8

So if Team USA gets #1 seed they likely play Switzerland then Czech or Finland/Sweden loser

If team USA gets #2 seed they likely play Slovakia then Russia or Canada

The #1 seeding path looks much easier

Canada is really in a tough spot, since they don't get a bye and then will have to go thru Russia.
