This asking people on a forum is getting kinda redicilous. I live in DevilsAssholeRidge, TN and know 2 bookies. Put me in a big city where I know no one and I'll find 3 in 30 minutes off the bus! You guys live in these places & can't find a bookie??? I find it hard to believe. He's not under your bed or in your closet so how about leavin the house & looking! Not trying to be a smartass but most respected bookies will take you only on a referral from a current player in good standing. Do you not have any friends who deal with a local?

Another poster looking for one in San Fran, now in Pittsburgh, 2 huge cities! Go to a bar, especially a VFW or sports bar. Look for the middle aged balding guy in slacks, not jeans, drinking a cocktail, not beer, kinda overweight, sitting at corner of bar, facing the door. Reading the sports page or staring at the ballgame on TV. couple pens in shirt pocket. Start with him!

I actually live out by Indiana Pa about 90 min from Pitt, but I work in Pitt and I don't really go to bars, etc. without my fiancee. Looking for a local with her there would definitely not be doable.

stevek my best bet is for you to ask people. Go to bars like everyone say and ask the bartender. And be truthful and tell them you just moved there, because they will think you are feds if you don't come clean to them

Indiana PA not the state of Indiana. And yes the commute still sucks but there is nothing but dogshit jobs in the little town of Indiana Pa.
