Right now, that feels as if that's about 8 years away.

If you beat 500k on slots alone I would believe 13k wouldn't bother you. Just my 2 cents.

                    You are joking, right????

ANYTIME that I'm in a downside, it bothers me to some extent...............it really is more the LENGTH OF TIME THAT I REMAIN IN MY DOWNSIDE BEFORE REACHING MY CAREER GAMBLING HIGH that concerns more as much as the amount.

By the way, 13,000 is a good chunk of change to me.......having a +13,000 month would be a tremendous month for this grinder.

Keep in mind also, since 2004, I've made very little playing slots and/or video poker having lived in Florida since that time.

Fish, about a month ago I too was getting tired of the grind, made a thread AND sang a song about it! I do not expect you to do this but what worked for me was a cash-out, leaving enough in to satisfy my additction. I have since pissed that away and am staying out of action `til tournament time, though I do have notes and records I update daily. With my new found free time I have taken steps to better my life. Men like Hoopster42 writing encourage threads about being positive have been beneficial as well. On a side note, yesterday I had an interview as I am looking for a new job. Currently driving a tractor trailer to and from NYC every night, and working nights kinda blows...in any event, putting my time to better use. Lastly, I still find time to stop in here and keep abreast of what is going on. GL Bro`, no matter which path you choose I know you will be successful. GL and out.

I love my gambling career.............and will eventually return to my all-time high..........after years and years in this trade, I've come to expect the swings. However, at times, I will admit it does feel like I will never recover.

I guess that is part of the enjoyment of this profession..........however sick that may sound.

Correct, at least a portion of it.

Keep your head up fish. Even if it takes 3 years to get back to all-time high. Sometimes it takes that much time, sometimes longer.

Which is exactly the point. If shitheads roll is a big as he claims and has been gambling as long as he claims, a 13k swing should be nothing. That can happen before lunch. I lost more than that sunday morning before i got up.

Im not trying to be an asshole or get involved, but I do understand why people say what they say to fishhead.

Again we all go online for our own reasons, and some people like playing the big shot. I like to be an asshole to stangers who cant do shit sometimes. To each his own I guess. But honestly, anyone who cant see that fishhead is one of the most full of shit posters ever, well I just think some people are too nice. Guy is a near carbon copy of Patrick " I just won 2 million this weekend " McIrish.
