I agree, with his experience and intelligence he is 2nd to none.

Knight is great, liked him as a coach, love him as a broadcaster.
Someday maybe I will get to meet him.
Of course, I would be wearing my Purdue sweatshirt.

This has to be a joke Gold. The guy says the most obvious stuff and bangs on the refs the entire game. Doris Burke trumps the General

Maybe, but he's still entertaining. Kind of like John Madden, guy's an idiot, but fun to watch/listen to.

Whatsgood, John Madden was great too. I feel the opposite, I found him difficult to listen to, but his knowledge and perspective (being former coaches he and B K) was excellent i m o.

Him and Brent might be the most underrated announcing team in the business! Move over Dicky V!

I like him but the poster makes a great point; he talks soooo much about the obvious. And falls in love talking about one player. Even with his rambles I like him.

I love him for a big reason. When he coached, his kids graduated. Enough said. I dont care how much of a prick he was. His kids graduated and that was his number one priority

When Gameday came to Morgantown, WV last year, Knight, Digger, Rece Davis and a production staffer visited a restaurant the night before where one of my old friends works. They stayed for a couple of hours, ate some good Italian food and was telling stories all night, but the funniest moment came when Davis and Knight had to basically carry Digger out, as he had a little too much to drink. The next morning on the GameDay show, Knight made a reference that the Mountaineers had better have a better game than Digger had last night.....

Good in Studio...Somewhat annoying as an in-game analyst...Loves praising his style of basketball too much..."Good two hand chest, entry pass there...Set the big man up perfectly" Never mind the fact the big man, just spun past his defender, tossed the ball off the backboard to himself, dunked it home and drew the foul.
