Lol so true. You're a Phillies fan though I'm assuming? Big Braves fan here if you couldn't tell by my avatar, baseball season right around the corner now, should be a good one.

Yeah can't wait but I'm still a little bitter about not having lee and halladay on the same roster

Understandable, no complaints here. That would be damn near unstoppable. As hard as it is to admit though, I really like your chances to do big things this year

Yeah the way I look at it is when last year started Hamels was their number 1 and we had no idea we were going to acquire lee halfway through the year... now going into the season we know we have arguably the best pitcher in baseball and hamels(hopefully 2008 hamels) to back him up. Braves should be a pretty solid team this year though, along with the marlins. F the mets....

Yeah, it'd definitely be nice for you guys if you get the old Hamels back this year. I do like our squad this year, but then again I always do. And I can agree with ya there, F the Mets

If your ever in philly go to pats, genos is my second choice. If in the northeast go to steve's prince of steaks. If on south street go to jim's. If your near the sports complex check out talk of the town. Its closer and better IMO. If your at the titty bar called cheerleaders and get hungry, then go to tony lukes, its right around the corner. If your in AC go to the white house, dont hit the tony lukes at the borgata. Call in your white house order cause you'll wait forever if you dont.

I am still trying to figure out the Lee trade. He was only scheduled to make 9 mil. Think there was some issues last year in the playoffs where they wanted him to pitch on 3 days rest and it never happened. Halladay though will pitch on 2 days if he has to a true workhorse.

Haha yeah all those spots are good but my favorite steak shop would have to be chink's up in the northeast and if you want the best hoagie in town you gotta go to Paesano's on girard.. place is legit.

The only thing that makes any sense to me about the lee trade is that after this year he was quoted as saying he wanted to "test the market" (ie: go to the yankees) so i guess the phils wanted to get whatever they could for him this year. Plus I guess they had to somewhat replenish the farm system

Yeah I forgot about chinks, had it once is pretty good. I would have rather kept Lee then get another righty who is aging and past his prime, still a good pitcher but not what he was 5 years ago. Lee is rolling into his prime but the phils didnt want that salary. I woulda dealt hamels instead of Lee since I feel he's gonna become a chronic injury problem and they could still shop him now before it gets at crisis point. Plus he's young so that adds to his market value. I was answering minet on the tony lukes question and ironically my old lady got back from the market right after I made that post and told me the market was discontinuing selling the prontos, which I love to eat as a quick and easy lunch option.
