    JW Cash chasing
I use my own 3 game chase using my own system plays.....

    and in effect never lose...........

My record in a typical month is 106-6

Now....game 3 on my chase is just to recover the 2 previous chase
game losses in that particular series.....

When I get a chase loss....I simply divide the amount of the loss
into 5 or 7 and add that number on to the next 5 or 7 upcoming series...

With a record of like 106-6, its not hard to recover all losses...

I also use different ways to divide the risk between all upcoming plays..

The ROI on this is pretty amazing to say the least......

The 2 most important elements of a successful chase series
is strenght of the play........and risk management.........

The risk of my plays are always equal..........

None of this insane JM nonsense like risking 26 units to win 1....

In a sense a 3 game chase system isn't a chase system. It is more of selling 3 game parlays. Odds that you will win is 7 to 1. All things equal I would assume this type of betting would increase your volatility, therefore reducing your bet size. I.E. "The sum of all your bets using a 3 game chase system" is "less than the sum of all your bets using a single game system". Which in turn would lower your expected gain.

Then again your getting advice from someone that is out of school for awhile, and only average a B in his math work

        Do chases work?

        Yes they do.....

I have done them for years and they remain my main investment vehicle...

BUT...you have to do them " right "....!

No martingaling or JM style chases......

You have to do what the ancient Roman war lords demanded...

        " Divide and Conquer "...

I modified that and say " Divide the Risk and Conquer "

Use high probability plays and keep dividing all " chase losses " into
upcoming series.......until they are absorbed.....and with the high win percentage
of a successful chase sequence....that time frame is very short....

It all works if your systems plays are " high probability " and thats where the
        handicapping comes in.....

I have simply combined flat betting and chasing into a very consistent profit
        producing machine..

Again it all comes down to your " play ".....

I do like variety and I do labby Doc's plays......and with the labby...he can be profitable.....

This is one of them but you need to pick your spots carefully.

Suppose you handicapped 6 games like today, games A and B starts at 4:00pm, games C and D, starts at 5:00, games E, F starts at 7:35.

All games say have a 58% chance of winning, and they are selling at -110 so they all have +EV.

Base on your system how would you bet this series?

                If they win. Yes.

But most the time your betting on pure desperation, to try and make up some losses. So the thinking might not be clear, and bad capping can be done.

                  ...lol.....thats what 98% of " gamblers " do.....

I dont gamble....I DO NOT like to lose.....

I only invest on a team where my spreadsheet shows me that team
or situation is in a 95 to 100% positive category on that given day....

..so I gave that team 3 chances to fulfill their destiny for me....

I would never start a 3 game chase with a 58% chance of winning Game A...

I only start with investments that show me a 95 to 100% of positive probablity...

Now if I had 4 such investments in a given day at different time frames.....they would all start at Game A......no matter what time they started..

                      95% positive probability?

Even at 58% record you can double up your bankroll in a season or 2,

95% probability your going to own all the sportsbook in a few days.

95% probablity doesnt mean it will win 95% of the time...

I am only at 60.2% on Game A in February.....
